How are pros vetted?

Pros earn the Shwaber Safety Seal once they pass ID verification, a background check, and liability-insurance verification. You'll see the seal next to their name on bids and on their business profile.

How does escrow protect me?

When you accept a bid, the funds are charged and held by Shwaber — not paid to the pro yet. They're released only when you mark the job complete. If something goes wrong, our dispute team can pause the release and review.

What if I'm not satisfied with the work?

You can open a dispute from the job page. Our team responds within 5 business days and can hold or review the escrowed payment before any money moves.

How fast will I get bids?

Most jobs get their first bids within 30 minutes. You'll be notified as pros respond, so you can compare and choose on your own schedule.
